Have we all read book 8 of the series? Did it leave you with some unasnwered question?

How does Sookie help Hadley's son? Isn't it cool that he is also a telepath? What about Sookie's fairy legacy, how does that play a role in her life? Does he settle on a guy or does a new one come along? Does he hook up with Eric again...LOL? I love Eric! Or does she a John QUinn get back together? I love Quinn for her at least with him she can have babies?

What are your thoughts?

in a telepath way.
Sookie told Hadley's husband to call him,
in the future his son would need Sookie, to train him
how to use his telepath skills.

I was all for Bill at first, but then the betrayal...it was hard for me to get over and Eric has this charm thats just....undeniable....What about her fairy heritage I thought that was cool, the books always lead you to beleive she was more than a telepath, how could a human withstand all the fights, bumps/bruises as she did this girl was always in the middle of a fight or war like trouble loved her...LOL but thats what made the story interesting also.....how much of the supernatural elements in the series do you think they will adapt on the show?

Claudine was actually in the pilot, but they took her out when they redid the first episode. It was a good call... it seemed extremely random and silly for a woman in a sequined dress to be hiding in the woods while Sookie is swinging a chain at the Ratrays.

The fact that she was in the pilot makes me think they're planning on introducing the fairy stuff. I think Jason being seemingly irresistible is part of that, too, which they've definitely played up in the show.

I've heard a few people say that they didn't enjoy FDTW as much as the other books in the series because, unlike the other books, it was more about setting up future storylines and less of a stand-alone novel than the others. Personally, that was what I loved most about it. I didn't actually read them in order the first time, although I had read all the other books by the time I got to this one, and now I'm busting to find out where CH is going to take the series next. There are just so many options! I was worried that, by book 8, we might be nearing the end of the series but now I have faith that we'll be with Sookie for quite awhile yet. Even then, now we've met Hadley, there are possibilites for a spin off series about growing up with telepathy in the same world. I can't wait until Dead and Gone (is that going to be the title of the next one?) comes out!
